SpringHill Suites by Marriott Lumberton

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Lumberton is a solid option, and the location is what really makes this hotel perfect as it’s right off I-95, making it extremely convenient for an overnight stop during a road trip. They offer free breakfast, which is always a plus and makes the stay more convenient. At first glance, the rooms appear clean and comfortable. However, if you look a bit closer, you’ll notice signs of wear and tear, such as rusted pipes, cracked tiles, and carpets under the bed or near the AC unit that could use a deeper clean. That said, these were minor issues and didn’t impact our overall comfort or sleep. The room was still functional, quiet, and comfortable enough for a stopover. Overall, thanks to the excellent location and reasonable experience, I would definitely stay here again, especially when traveling along I-95.

Had a great experience at a good price and the best part about the whole stay happened shortly after checkout. I left my $500 Garmin watch on the charger in the room and the cleaner Josefina found it turned it into the front desk and Chris called us. Told us he had to watch. When we got back Chris was very thorough to verify that was indeed my watch so as to make sure that nobody tried to claim it. Staff was friendly and had great integrity. Everybody was really friendly with the kids! Will come back if we come this way!

Just wanted to personally thank Zac. He was so helpful and professional at the front desk when I checked out this morning. But I would be remiss if I did not mention the cleanliness and the size of the rooms the showers were big everything worked and it was great price. In addition finally, the air conditioning was perfectly cold. The linens were really nice. I loved it thank you. Great value.

Absolutely the best hotel in the area. Melena is amazing! I’m here for work, but she made me feel like I was on vacation. And they have an indoor pool and hot tub! And there are literally like 50 places to eat within five minutes

Great hotel! Very clean and cozy. The rooms are comfortable and well-designed, with lots of thoughtful little details — I especially loved the portable wooden tray, such a nice touch. Breakfast was good. The staff were polite and friendly. Pet welcomed. A perfect place to stop and relax while traveling. Highly recommend!

Cleanliness counts for about 90% of my view of a hotel. This hotel was excellent in that regard. From the lobby to the rooms, it was all very clean! I would stay here again based on that alone. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast is included and was your standard scrambled eggs, cereal, bagels, waffle deal. The beds were fine, not overly comfortable and the pillows weren't nearly as firm as we like. The ac was very loud and the way the room is set up, if someone is trying to get ready while others sleep, it's very difficult as anywhere you need to turn lights on, makes it very bright in the sleeping area. The bathroom has a frosted glass door so it's unavoidable to wake up everyone and turn on the light to see while you're in there. There's also a few light bulbs out in the room and the fridge wouldn't stay on. Those are minor details in our opinion, but may be a bigger deal to others. Overall, very clean and we would stay here again in the future.

Great find. Newly renovated. Large rooms. Bathroom was big and very clean! The ONLY drawback was the big beautiful frosted glass barn door on the bathroom. There are no quiet lights in the bathroom, so each time my husband used it in the night, the bright light woke me. Thankfully, we carry a night light with us. The front desk also offered one The bed was pretty soft, but we were only here a couple nights. Great location. Breakfast was a nice hot breakfast of eggs, sausage, waffle and more. The build your own pizza place across the parking lot was good and very reasonable. We were going to see family history in Whiteville and go to the USS North Carolina. I would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. Super clean. Very good breakfast. Did not use pool but it looked nice. The only thing that is a little confusing is the entrance. You can only come in from the left side of the hotel. But it's not hard to do a U turn. There is a very yummy pizza place with wings, beer, salads next door. Do not eat at the Outback steak house. Horrible service & food. Will definitely be staying at this hotel again when traveling from Florida to up north.
